This year, our fashion and trade show will encompass a unique variety of partners making a stand against modern day slavery through fair trade and nonprofit means. These organizations produce clothing, jewelry, and other and other garments that are made by former victims of trafficking and also companies that promote fair labor practices, empowering consumers consciously. At the fashion show audience can also expect a one of a kind ceiling art piece that will depict a water-esque theme for Rebirth. Another unique addition is the QR code wall which will be a wall covered with QR codes that is scan-able by smart phones. By scanning these codes the audience is able to bring up a profile of a Cambodian girl who has help make our lovely khmer love bunnies. Lastly the TOMS shoes that were on display during our ReFashion event will also be auctioned off at the show. These shoes came about through the collaboration of Freedom and Fashion, Viva la Art, and TOMS. The proceeds from the project will fuel Freedom and Fashion to expand and support more potential partners in the coming year. These are all remarkable pieces that bring together an evening you will not forget.
