Jonnystyle is a Montpellier based artist who made his first steps in street art as
graffiti writer in the late 90′s.
After looking for his style during 8 years he finally dropped graffiti in 2005 and started drawing and painting a mustachioed character as an icon of the archetypal middle class Frenchman.
Jonnystyle doesn’t only draw or paint but he uses and works on a lot of various concepts, projects and supports like sketches, collages, paintings, ceramics, animation and It’s with a certain derision that he varies them.
You could run into some Jonnystyle’s paintings in LA.
His latest work was to revisit the famous Simpsons’ intro by Banksy.
