Last night, during the ‘Nuit Blanche’ in Paris I went to Pompidou Center to see an exhibition called Tokyo Graphic Passport.
While walking in the huge room where the exhibition took place I noticed a set of calligraphies and graphic designs, Shun Kawakami’s design combined to Gen Miyamura’s calligraphies.
Shun Kawakami is a Tokyo based art director and designer of graphics, artwork, interactive media and motion graphics.
Gen Miyamura is a Shizuoka based traditionnal calligrapher and has developped his work to various fields, from design to fine art.
