Freedom and Fashion’s REFASHION shopping event along LA’s Downtown Art Walk to be included in FASHION’S NIGHT OUT on September 8, 2011
LOS ANGELES, August 14th, 2011: Freedom and Fashion and the official Fashion’s Night Out present Refashion, the first one-of-a-kind shopping experience in LA’s Vibrant Downtown Art Walk on Thursday, September 8 2011. Refashion serves as a one-stop shopping hub where all vendors engage in fair trade and sustainable labor practices, with proceeds from purchases going toward efforts to end modern day slavery.
Shop for humanitarian-based merchandise from Falling Whistles, Krochet Kids, International Princess Project, Liberty in North Korea (LiNK), Def.i.ni.ción and Freedom and Fashion. Purchasing a bag, jewelry, or clothing from our guest vendors supports those working to end human oppression through fashion. Rene Morales, Jonathan Huang, David Brady, Andy Fletcher, Kim Edmiston, Clair Foster Browne, Tony Hong, Joby Cummings, Stephen V. Williams, and David Brady will showcase their shoe art exhibitions, and music will be provided by L.A. Times featured up-and-coming DJ Co.fee.
